Nigerian-South African beauty queen Chidimma Adetshina has shared her ambition to be a contestant in the next edition of the Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) reality show. In a recent interview with Cool FM, Adetshina expressed confidence in her ability to excel in the show, drawing on her experience in the Miss South Africa pageant.
“I want to enter Big Brother Naija next year. If I can stay away for seven weeks at Miss SA, trust me, I am sure I can do it,” Adetshina remarked during the interview.
Adetshina, who has faced racial challenges in South Africa, also announced that she has no plans to return to the country after her participation in the Miss Universe Nigeria Pageant. She previously withdrew from the Miss South Africa competition following a racially charged attack and an investigation by the South African Home Office into her mother’s citizenship status.
Speaking on her decision, Adetshina revealed, “I think it’s safe to say I’m not going back. It’s been amazing. I’m not even looking forward to going back to South Africa. I just want to explore more. I want to stay longer and see what happens next.”
As Adetshina prepares for her potential journey into the BBNaija house, her story continues to inspire many, showcasing resilience and determination in the face of adversity.
