The IGP described the incident as deeply disturbing and unacceptable.

In response, the IGP has directed the immediate deployment of extensive human and technical resources to reinforce the Benue State Police Command, ensuring a rapid rescue mission. The Nigeria Police Force stands in solidarity with the victims and their families during this difficult time, reaffirming its commitment to their safe recovery.

The IGP has pledged that no stone will be left unturned in pursuing the culprits behind this heinous act, as the Force continues its relentless fight against crime, particularly the scourge of kidnapping.

The IGP also urges the public to provide any valuable information that could assist in the ongoing investigation and rescue efforts.
