Controversial Nigerian actor Yul Edochie has weighed in on the ongoing rift between the famous music duo P-Square, consisting of twin brothers Rudeboy and Mr. P. Edochie advised netizens to respect the brothers' decision to stay apart if that brings them peace.
The actor’s comments come in response to the news that P-Square has broken up for the second time, barely three years after their initial reunion. Rudeboy recently confirmed the split, causing a stir among fans and prompting calls for reconciliation, including from prominent figures like Peter Obi.
In an Instagram post on Thursday, Yul Edochie emphasized that sometimes maintaining peace of mind requires distance rather than forcing reconciliation. He remarked, "Being alive and happy is more important than being together." He encouraged people to understand that sometimes real peace comes from staying apart and that it's okay to block or distance oneself from even family members if it ensures personal peace.
Edochie further urged fans to support the brothers regardless of their decision, stating that their happiness and well-being should be prioritized over being together. He concluded by saying, "It’s good to see P-Square together. But if they have to stay apart to be happy and alive for us, let them stay apart. We love them regardless."
