Kenneth Okonkwo, a well-known Nollywood actor and politician, recently expressed his displeasure with Nigerians for their acceptance of the current high fuel prices.
In a post on Instagram, Okonkwo highlighted the irony of the situation, noting that many of the same individuals who protested against a fuel price of ₦140 per liter in the past are now silently enduring prices as high as ₦1,000 per liter. He criticized this change in attitude and condemned what he perceives as hypocrisy, stating that it "shall not be well with the wicked."
Okonkwo’s comments also referenced the irony of those who led the earlier protests now being in positions of power.
