The mother of popular Nigerian singer, Oyinkansola Sarah Aderibigbe, better known as Ayra Starr, has encouraged Nigerians to introduce their middle-aged mothers to TikTok.
Mrs. Aderibigbe, who actively shares engaging content on the platform, stated that TikTok has a positive impact on mental well-being for women in their 40s to 60s.
In a recent video shared via her TikTok page, she expressed gratitude for the platform and its community, emphasizing how it has changed her perspective and boosted her creativity.
“If your mum is between 40 and 60 years old, encourage her to join TikTok—it helps mentally,” she said.
She further explained that being on TikTok has improved her thinking and overall outlook on life. She urged younger users to encourage their mothers to share their life experiences through the platform.
