Renowned gospel singer Paul Nwokocha has confirmed the end of his second marriage.
Nwokocha, who married his second wife, Goodness, in September 2023—just a month after his first marriage with Alice ended—had initially praised her qualities, even dedicating songs to her on their wedding day. He had also emphasized that she was from his hometown, leading many to believe he knew her well.
At the time, he justified his quick remarriage by citing the Bible, stating, “The Holy Bible says Paul Nwokocha should not be alone.”
However, the union lasted only a year before collapsing.
Addressing the breakup in a video, Nwokocha alleged that Goodness had been caught taking and sending nude photos to other men.
“I married a wife, not a prostitute, so I owe no one an apology for my decision,” he stated firmly.
He further urged critics to stop judging him, adding, “He who wears the shoe knows where it pinches.”
The singer concluded, “Regardless of how long we’ve been married, if I discover you’re engaging in immoral acts, you’re leaving my house.”
