Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has spoken out after being declared wanted by the Ogun State Police Command.
A statement released by the Magistrate Court in Ogun State on Monday alleged that Portable was involved in conspiracy, serious assault, unlawful possession of arms, public disturbance, and attempted murder by allegedly recruiting armed thugs.
The arrest warrant is linked to an incident that reportedly took place on February 5, 2025.
Reacting on Tuesday, the controversial singer denied the accusations in a now-deleted Instagram story, challenging the police to provide proof of the alleged assault.
He wrote:
"I no kill person, I no fit run from God. If anything happens to me, na big wahala. Make them post where we fight them for my bar, make them post evidence say I fight them. Evil people, them lie against us. God never lies, Zazuu, God dey where I dey."
