Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, has expressed gratitude for the unwavering support from the people, attributing their trust to his dedication to effective governance.
As part of his commitment to public safety, Governor Fubara has revitalized the Rumuodomaya Fire Service Substation. The upgraded facility is now equipped to handle fire emergencies efficiently, ensuring better protection for lives and properties in Rumuodomaya, Obio/Akpor, and nearby communities.
Speaking at the inauguration of the Rivers State Fire Service Substation on Friday, the governor emphasized the importance of prioritizing the welfare of citizens:
“I am once again pleased to stand before you and showcase one of our achievements, demonstrating that the interests of our people remain at the heart of our administration.
"When we unveiled the remodeled headquarters of the Rivers State Fire Service, I mentioned the establishment of two additional substations—Borokiri, which was inaugurated yesterday, and this one today.
"The primary goal of these projects is clear: to safeguard the lives and properties of Rivers State residents, which is a fundamental duty of governance.
"Your unwavering support is evident, and I deeply appreciate the trust of the people of Rivers State. We acknowledge that your belief in us is rooted in truth, and I assure you that we will continue to make decisions that improve lives and drive progress in our state."
